Friday morning was crisp and very Automn sunny. Thus I persuaded Romca to go to Sajtava cottage in near-by mountains (20 minutes drive). I was like going to our own cottage for a weekend.

I tried to persuade friends of ours to join us where two falimies did like going for a weekend as well.

Wedding circle is completed. The last guy got married so looking forward anniversary celebrations and parties.

We spent an extended weekend in Moravia where enjoying both a countryside, weather and a big, fat, Moravian wedding.

One week of holidays - cycling, walking, eating, blueberry picking... Three families with kids. We did not do much of sport but we had a great time in great mountains near the border with Slovakia.

Zdrave jadro vyrazilo v sobotu dopoledne na Holicho-Popiolkovic chalupu v Rokytnici v Orlickych horach. Jako vzdy, poradna prace byla odmenena pivem, grilovanim a hlavne paradni zabavou. Jedny fotily, jini se vyzivali s mega kladivem, dalsi vzpominaly na gymnastickou drahu.

On Sunday, to recover from crowds of people, we set to visit a slightly remote place where two mountain rivers join each other - Plactiva skala (Crying Rock). Its name is probably derived from a fact that water runs slowly down a rock.

It was quite hard walk in woods where a path was dissapearing frequently sometimes carrying both Maggie and Vojta on our backs. It was worth it.

Mile away from home, firefighter's competition was held the last Saturday. Our newbies started the competition followed by ourselves.

We had 3 great days in our highest mountain called Krkonose. It is usually translated as Giant mountain.

As you could see from our photos the weather was great - after one month of raining and cold weather - finaly we saw sun.

The first day Vojta and his friends managed to walk/run 9km. It was hard to believe that cause normaly he does not want to walk more than 2km. The truth is that going with friends is much more fun than walking with parents, ha ha.

Majdulka is one year old - today. We recalled all memories from the day one year ago. It was a great day one of the best ones in our life.

We live proper family life. Majdulka has been quite easy-going, patient and calm so far - I know it can change very quickly. She is like a little star shining - smiling whole day.

Evethough her brother sometimes teases her they love each other. He talks to her sings to her most of the time. She listens or tries to dance which looks cute and funny.

Yesterday they were bathing together for the first time. They enjoyed it so much. Their screaming and laughing was so loud - I bet our neighbours heard that.

V sobotu po poledni jsme vyrazili na denni vylet na druhou stranu Orlickych hor, do raselinist pod Zielincem. Lesy pekne, lide zadni, stezky raselinistemi nektere udrzovane a nektere jiz ne. Tez byl videt kontrast mezi lyzarskym Zielincem a prilehlymi turistickymi cestami.

Last saturday, we made a day trip on the opposite side of close-by mountains to visit nice and very woody moorlands. Trip was very pleasant though Romca took a small snack only and we walked and travelled for seven hours.
